LinkedIn Ads Performance report
Renta pipeline templates create several related LinkedIn Ads pipelines in one action. You pick the template and the ad account, and Renta creates the pipelines with a predefined field selection.
Overview
The LinkedIn Ads Performance report template creates three pipelines that share one date range and schedule.

Data schema
Each pipeline exports a fixed set of fields. The tables below list the columns of each destination table.
Ad statistics
This table carries the daily performance metrics of each ad.

| action_clicks | Clicks on the action button of a Sponsored Messaging ad. |
| clicks | Chargeable clicks on the ad. |
| cost_in_usd | Ad spend for the day, converted to USD. |
| follows | Follows from Sponsored Content and Follower ads. |
| impressions | Impressions for Sponsored Content and sends for Sponsored Messaging. |
| ad_unit_clicks | Clicks on the ad unit shown alongside a Sponsored Messaging ad. |
| comments | Comments on the ad. Sponsored Content only. |
| company_page_clicks | Clicks to view the company page. |
| conversion_value_in_local_currency | Value of the conversions in the account currency, as set by the advertiser. |
| external_website_post_view_conversions | Conversions that happened after a user saw the ad. |
| external_website_post_click_conversions | Conversions that happened after a user clicked the ad. |
| external_website_conversions | Total conversions after a click or a view of the ad. |
| lead_generation_mail_interested_clicks | Sponsored Messaging recipients who clicked to show interest. |
| likes | Likes on the ad. Sponsored Content only. |
| opens | Opens of Sponsored Messaging ads. |
| reactions | Positive reactions on Sponsored Content. |
| registrations | Event registrations after a view or a click of the ad. |
| shares | Shares of the ad. Sponsored Content only. |
| sends | Sends of Sponsored Messaging ads. |
Default settings.
The statistics pipeline is created with the Overwrite Period set to Last 7 days. Renta reloads the last seven days on every run and picks up conversions that LinkedIn attributes retroactively.
After the pipelines are created, you can open each one in the pipeline settings and change the values.
Ad campaign metadata
This table carries the current attributes of your campaigns.

| associated_entity | The entity associated with the campaign, such as an organization. |
| optimization_target_type | The optimization target of the campaign. |
| run_schedule_start | The campaign start time. |
| change_audit_stamps_created_actor | Who created the campaign. |
| change_audit_stamps_created_time | When the campaign was created. |
| change_audit_stamps_last_modified_actor | Who last modified the campaign. |
| change_audit_stamps_last_modified_time | When the campaign was last modified. |
| campaign_group_id | The identifier of the campaign group. |
| cost_type | The pricing model of the campaign, such as CPC or CPM. |
| creative_selection | How creatives are selected for rotation. |
| unit_cost_currency_code | The currency of the campaign cost. |
| unit_cost_amount | The unit cost amount of the campaign. |
| offsite_delivery_enabled | Whether offsite delivery is enabled. |
| account_id | The ad account the campaign belongs to. |
| status | The current status of the campaign, such as DRAFT or ACTIVE. |
| audience_expansion_enabled | Whether audience expansion is enabled. |
Ad creative metadata
This table carries the current attributes of your ads.

| campaign_id | The campaign the ad belongs to. |
| creative_id | The unique identifier of the ad. |
| intended_status | The intended status of the ad. |
| account_id | The ad account the ad belongs to. |
Data relationships
The three tables join by identifier columns.

Table name format
Tables are created with a unix timestamp suffix to avoid naming conflicts:
- la_ad_statistics_{unix_timestamp}
- la_campaign_metadata_{unix_timestamp}
- la_ad_creative_metadata_{unix_timestamp}
Creating with template
Follow these steps on the settings screen of the LinkedIn Ads pipeline.

- Select Pre-built templates as the integration type.
- Choose the Ad accounts to extract data from.
- Select LinkedIn Ads Performance report in the Templates dropdown.
Set the date range and the schedule as usual. These settings apply to all three pipelines.
After you click Create pipeline, the three pipelines appear in the Pipelines section under the ETL tab.
Template or custom report
A template is a quick start with a fixed field set. A custom report gives you full control over the fields.
