Why Meta Pixel data doesn't match your CRM

A typical scenario: your CRM shows 100 real sales. Meanwhile, Meta Ads reports 70 conversions and Google Ads reports 80. Together, the ad platforms counted 150 sales. You can't calculate your real cost per acquisition (CPA) from numbers like these.

Ad blockers

Users install AdBlock to avoid banner ads. These extensions also block analytics scripts.

A customer places an order, the pixel code doesn't fire, and for Meta, that purchase never happened.

Browser restrictions (ITP)

Safari and Firefox delete third-party cookies after 24 hours.

If someone clicks on an ad on Monday and completes a purchase on Wednesday, the browser pixel can no longer link the purchase to the ad campaign.

Double-counted conversions

A single customer may click a Google ad one day and a Facebook ad the next before buying.

Each platform's pixel claims credit for the sale. Analytics get duplicated, and ad budgets are allocated blindly.

Connection drops

The pixel runs in the browser and depends on the user's internet connection.

If the buyer quickly closes the "Thank you for your order" page or their network drops for a split second, the script doesn't have time to send the purchase data to the ad platform.

How it works

At the moment of purchase, Renta's algorithm uses your attribution model to identify the real ad channel and routes the conversion only to it.

This solves the problem of double-counting a single sale across platforms. If Google brought the customer, Meta won't see that sale and won't claim credit for it.

We collect first-party data directly from your website. AdBlock and Safari's ITP algorithms no longer block cookies or reduce the quality of data sent to ad platforms.

We send enriched customer data to Meta. Renta automatically detects personally identifiable information (PII) and securely hashes it.

The algorithm recognizes audiences faster and optimizes campaigns more accurately.

If an ad platform's API is temporarily unavailable or returns an error, Renta Conversion API Gateway doesn't lose the conversion. The system automatically retries until it receives a successful acceptance status.

No black boxes. The logs show every conversion sent: what data was transmitted and whether Meta's or Google's API accepted it.
